How to decode / crack highly Encrypted hashes ? How to decode juniper hashes ? > Backtrack Tutorial

Hello all , 

               
          This tutorial is all about cracking a Juniper type highly encrypted hashes like /$9$/h6a9 . we are going to use FindMyHash program on backtrack to crack such Hashes . Here is a step by step tutorial to crack Juniper type hashes .


1. Take the Hash shown in the below given picture as an example . We are going to see how to crack it .




2. Now open FindMyHash as shown in the below given pic . ie backtrack  > Privilege Escalation >> Pass Attacks >> Online attacks >> findmyhash

3. Open findmyhash and write this command on it .

     
               ./findmyhash.py JUNIPER -h "YOUR HASH HERE"


 Refer the below given pic and hit enter .




There We Go .. Your Backtrack will decode your hash within seconds . Here the decoded hash reads " lc "
